Nagarjuna Construction bags orders worth Rs540 cr

Mumbai: Nagarjuna Construction Company on Wednesday said it has received orders worth Rs540 crore for infrastructure related works.
The company has secured orders, aggregating Rs540 crore including a Rs388 crore contract from Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, for contruction of Hogenakkal Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation project, Nagarjuna Construction today said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
Another order that the company received is from UP Jal Nigam for Rs73 crore. The project has to be completed in 18-month.
The company bagged two more contracts from Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board, Chennai and Salem City Municipal Corporation, Salem for Rs41 crore and Rs38 crore respectively, for various construction related works.
Both projects have to be completed within a time period of 24-month.
Shares of Nagarjuna Construction company were trading at Rs153.30, up 0.43% from the previous close.
