Adidas AG has named Erick Haskell as the managing director of its Indian operations. It’s the second time that the German sportswear maker, which owns the Reebok and Adidas brands, has changed its top management in the country in less than a year.
Haskell takes over from Claus Heckerott, who was appointed to manage the India business in March, amid financial irregularities reported at the Reebok India unit. Prior to this, Haskell was the group’s chief operating officer in China.
Heckerott will now take up a global leadership position within Adidas, said Haskell.
