Mumbai: Future Capital Holdings, the financial services arm of Future Group, on Monday said its consolidated net loss narrowed to Rs3.28 crore in the fourth quarter ended 31March 2009, from Rs4.38 crore in the same period last year.
The total income of the Kishore Biyani-led firm rose 12.03% to Rs51.02 crore from Rs45.53 crore in the March quarter last fiscal, Future Capital said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the financial year ended 31 March 2009, Future Capital posted a net loss of Rs32.11 crore, while it had a net loss of Rs28.75 crore in FY’08.
The total income stood at Rs179.86 crore in FY’09 against Rs 98.48 crore last year.
Shares of Future Capital surged 5% to hit upper circuit at Rs256.80 on the BSE.
