Mumbai: Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd is recalling new generation Scorpio and Nuvo Sport vehicles manufactured until June 2016 “for a pro-active inspection of fluid hose,” the company said in a statement to the stock exchanges.
The company did not specify the number of vehicles being recalled. The inspection and any subsequent rectification will be carried out free of cost and customers will be individually contacted, it said.
“As an endeavour to ensure a hassle free experience for its customers, the company is proactively carrying out this activity,” the company said.
Indian auto makers recalled 2.24 million vehicles citing safety concerns between July 2012 and May 2016. Mint reported on 2 June.
