Twitter plans no IPO, sees no need for fresh fund
Seoul: Biz Stone, the co-founder of popular microblogging site Twitter, said on Thursday the company was not planning to go public in any immediate future, and it would not need fresh funds as it started making money.
“That’s (an initial offering) not something we really talk about yet. We have so many other things before we even think about that. We are not even discussing it internally. It’s too far off," Stone told Reuters on the sideline of a forum in Seoul organised by broadcaster MBN.
“We are pretty good on funds right now and we are sort of making money. I don’t think we look into raising fund more...The plan is now to ramp up revenue," he said.
