Mumbai: Leading paper manufacturer Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) on 29 August posted a net profit after tax of Rs66.28 crore for the quarter ended 30 June, against Rs67.88 crore for the same quarter last year.
Total income (net of excise) was at Rs537.65 crore, against Rs533.69 crore, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
For the year ended 30 June, BILT posted a net profit after tax of Rs250.75 crore whilst the same was at Rs212 crore for the year-ago period.
Total income was Rs2,173.45 crore for the year ended 30 June, against Rs1,884.37 crore a year ago.
The company’s board declared a final dividend of 15% on the equity shares.
The group posted a net profit after tax of Rs255.97 crore for the year ended 30 June, against Rs214.17 crore for the year ended 30 June, 2006. Total income of the group was at Rs2,331.51 crore against Rs1,923.68 crore.
