BackJLR appoints Nick Roger as engineering director
Roger will succeed Wolfgang Ziebart, who will step down and assume board-level responsibilities for Jaguar Land Rover's global engineering operations

Jaguar Land Rover Automotive Plc., a unit of Tata Motors Ltd, has appointed Nick Rogers as engineering director with effect from April 2015. He will succeed Wolfgang Ziebart, who will step down and assume board-level responsibilities for Jaguar Land Rover’s global engineering operations, reporting directly to chief executive Ralf Speth. Ziebart will continue to work with Jaguar Land Rover, focusing on technology development.
“Ziebart joined Jaguar Land Rover in July 2013 and has led the engineering team through a period of continued growth as we have expanded our product range. I would like to thank Wolfgang for his stewardship, counsel and advice through this period and I look forward to his on-going involvement with the business," said Speth
“Rogers has worked for JLR for more than 30 years and has broad experience across engineering, manufacturing and product delivery," he said.
Tata Motors Ltd bought JLR from Ford Motor Co in 2008. The company’s sales almost trebled to £19.4 billion in its financial year to 31 March 2014 from £6.6 billion in the fiscal year ended 31st March 2010.
