Pfizer May quarter net soars seven fold

Mumbai: Pfizer Ltd said on 28 June its net profit has jumped seven fold to Rs257.76 crore for the quarter ended 31 May, compared to Rs35.89 crore for the same quarter last year.

Total Income (net of excise and sales tax) of the company soared over two fold to Rs455.75 crore for the quarter ending 31 May, from Rs189.79 crore in the same period last year, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Shares of Pfizer were trading at Rs834, up 2.9% on BSE in afternoon trade.
