GMR Infra divests 20% stake in power unit

GMR Infra divests 20% stake in power unit

Mumbai: GMR Infrastructure Ltd said on Thursday its unlisted unit, GMR Kamalanga Energy, would divest 20% equity.

The 20% stake in GMR Kamalanga, which is developing 1,050 MW coal-based power plant in eastern state of Orissa, would be divested to India Infrastructure Fund and Infrastucture Development Finance Company Ltd, a statement said.

The company did not provide any financial details of the deal.

Shares GMR Infra ended up 2.18% in a flat stock market.
