Oracle Financial Q2 net up 8% at Rs93 cr

Mumbai: Oracle Financial Services Software today said its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended 30 September increased by 7.81% to Rs93.43 crore, from the corresponding period a year ago.
The total consolidated income rose to Rs707.37 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs575.80 crore in the same period last fiscal, Oracle Financial said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
On a standalone basis, Oracle Financial witnessed a jump of 45.29% in net profit at Rs111.25 crore in the September quarter, from Rs76.57 crore in the same period previous year.
The company’s standalone income increased to Rs544.78 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2008, from Rs435.17 crore in the same period last year.
Oracle Financial was quoting at Rs470, down 3.60% in morning trade on the BSE.
