Garware Offshore bags ONGC contract

Mumbai: Garware Offshore, engaged in support drilling and oil exploration activities, has bagged a five-year contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for supply of platform supply vessels.
The company would receive around Rs 125 crore from the five year contract during the contract period.
According to sources in Garware Offshore, which informed the Bombay Stock Exchange, “The vessel is scheduled to be delivered in May”.
The platform supply vessel (PSV) which is called ‘M V Kamet´will be deployed in India, fitted with appropriate design and necessary clean notations.
Platform Supply Vessels carry supplies to offshore platforms. They are fitted with tanks that can be used to store and transport drinking or industrial water, drilling sludge, fuel and methanol.
