Ipsos appoints Amit Adarkar as new India head

New Delhi: Market research company Ipsos India on Tuesday announced the appointment of Amit Adarkar as its new country manager and managing director, replacing Mick Gordon, who is moving to a larger regional role within the organization.

Adarkar’s appointment will be effective from the first week of September 2014, the company said in a press release.

With over two decades in the research industry, Adarkar has previously worked for organizations such as IMRB International, Synovate and Org-Marg. He was earlier managing director at market research company Market Probe and vice-president at Nielsen-Bases. Adarkar joined Ipsos as managing director of Ipsos InnoQuest India in January 2013.
