New Delhi: Reliance Communications Ltd, or RCom, on Wednesday said that it will offer unlimited talk time to subscribers for minimal one-time monthly charges for its CDMA mobile telephony services.
CDMA users comprise roughly 55% of RCom’s total subscriber base. The Anil Ambani-owned firm hopes to lure GSM customers from large mobile service providers, said its president marketing (wireless business) Mahesh Prasad.
RCom said in a statement it will offer customers with two unique calling packs —one with unlimited local calls at a monthly fixed charge of Rs299, and unlimited nationwide calls at a fixed charge of Rs599.
For local calls to other networks, subscribers would get 30 minutes of free talk time every day.
