Mumbai: The chief executive of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS), S. Ramadorai, may continue to lead the firm in an advisory capacity after his retirement in October.
“I think we all will be involved in some form or manner. It’s too early to say,” said Ramadorai, who has spent 38 years at TCS, 13 of them at the helm. He added that he is keen to mentor young leadership at the firm and the Tata group.
Chief operating officer N. Chandrasekaran is expected to replace Ramadorai. “October is when I formally retire. I think these are important things which will be decided at the right time,” Ramadorai said.
