New Delhi: Retail player Marks & Spencer Reliance India on Thursday said it has appointed Martin Jones as its new chief executive officer.
Jones has taken over from Mark Ashman as head of the joint venture company, it said in a statement.
A veteran in the retail industry, Jones has been associated with Marks & Spencer since 1997.
Mark Ashman has returned to the UK as Marks & Spencer regional managing director (Europe and Middle East), the statement added.
Marks & Spencer Reliance India is a joint venture between UK-based retail major Marks & Spencer and Reliance Industries Ltd and was set up in 2008. It currently has 17 stores across the country selling womenswear, menswear, kidswear, homeware and beauty products.
