SBBJ shares rise 5% on June quarter profit
Mumbai: Public sector bank State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur on Tuesday said its net profit for the quarter ended 30 June 2009, jumped twofold to Rs147.30 crore, over the same period last year.
The bank had a net profit of Rs65.31 crore in the quarter ended June 2008, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The bank’s income rose to Rs1,103.81 crore for the June quarter this fiscal against Rs999.95 crore in the same quarter last year.
Shares of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur were trading at ₹ 354.25 on the BSE, up 4.99% from the previous close.
