Mumbai : GMR Infrastructure today announced a consolidated net profit of Rs50.02 crore for the quarter ended 31 March 2008, a two-fold growth over the corresponding period last year.
The company had a net profit of Rs21.85 crore in the fourth quarter of 2006-07 fiscal, GMR Infra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The total income rose to Rs905.19 crore in the latest quarter, from Rs619.47 crore in the same period last year.
For the year ended 31 March, GMR Infra announced a consolidated net profit of Rs210.08 crore, a 20.44% growth over the year-ago period. The company had a net profit of Rs174.43 crore in FY’07.
The total income rose to Rs2,364.53 crore for the year ended 31 March, from Rs1,715.07 crore in the year-ago period.
GMR announced a standalone net profit of Rs37.36 crore for Q4 of FY’08, a three-fold growth over the corresponding period a year-ago. The firm had a net profit of Rs12.37 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY’07.
The total income rose to Rs64.44 crore in the latest quarter, from Rs22.75 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
For the year ended 31 March, the firm announced a standalone net profit of Rs62.69 crore, as against a net profit of Rs2.88 crore in year-ago period. The total income rose to Rs112.20 crore in FY08 from Rs33.90 crore in the year-ago period.
Shares of GMR Infra were trading at Rs151.05, up 0.07% in the late afternoon trade on the BSE.
