Dhathri aims Rs100 cr turnover, to set up 100 hospitals in Kerala
Kochi: Dhathri Ayurveda Private Ltd, targetting a ₹ 100 crore turnover in 2011, will soon set up 100 Ayurveda hospitals and clinics in Kerala, especially in rural areas, a top official of the firm said on Thursday.
The company’s turnover in the 2010-11 fiscal ending 31 March 2011 was ₹ 60 crore.
Dhathri would start 100 ABS (Ayurveda Beauty Slimimng) clinics of which 12 have already been started.
The company will also introduce 100 classical Ayurveda medicines and an array of patented products from its modern manufacturing facility at Nellad in Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district, Dr S Sajikumar, chief physician and managing director said.
Dhathri already has 10 patented drugs and would launch 11 more patented prescription products for diabetes, hypertension, cholestrol, arthritis and stress, he said.
Dhathri would invest Rs10 crore to develop ayurveda medicines and infrastructure and also set up a Dhathri Ayurveda Foundation to promote authentic Ayurveda globally. The Foundation would focus on providing comprehensive healthcare solution through hospitals, doctors and prescribed products and take steps to promote Kerala ayurveda in other countries.
The company has manufacturing facilities at Kayamkulam and Nellad and treatment centres at Guruvayoor, Ernakulam, Kayamkulam, Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore and Banglore.
