3M India founders sell shares, chairman steps down

Mumbai: 3M India Ltd said on 18 June its Indian founders Shearson Investment & Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd and Godavari Corp. Pvt. Ltd have sold 6.2% of their stake in the company in the open market.
Yashovardhan Birla has resigned as the director and chairman of the board and has been replaced by a non-executive director, Thomas P Spencer, it said in a statement. The statement also said Mary B McCormick has also stepped down as a director.
