Satyam founder Raju undergoes angioplasty

Hyderabad:B. Ramalinga Raju, the jailed founder of software outsourcer Satyam Computer Services Ltd, underwent an angioplasty on Tuesday. An angioplasty is a medical procedure to widen narrowed or clogged cardiac blood vessels.
Raju has been held in the Chanchalguda prison since 9 January after he confessed to the country’s biggest accounting fraud. On 7 September, he was admitted to the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences after he complained of chest pain.
