New Delhi: Tata group company Voltas Ltd on 20 July reported a 140% rise in net profit for the quarter ended 30 June at Rs52.16 crore, against Rs21.75 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.
The company’s income for operations grew 39% to Rs833.69 crore against Rs599.29 crore, Voltas said in a statement.
“The company has sustained the momentum of its accelerated growth as most of its businesses are performing at high levels. It has successfully seized opportunities arising from substantial investments in various sectors of the economy,” Voltas executive vice-president, finance and CFO, M.M. Miyajiwala said in the statement.
Voltas’ electro-mechanical projects and services revenues grew by 52% and the order book of the segment stands at Rs2,007 crore, it said.
