Mumbai: Tata Strategic Management Group on Wednesday announced an alliance with Munich-based Roland Berger Strategy Consultants to provide an end-to-end range of services here and abroad. The alliance will focus on providing support to global firms looking to expand in India as well as Indian firms that are planning to develop businesses in Europe, China and Japan.
The firms will also jointly develop businesses in new markets such as West Asia, East Asia and Africa. Initially, it will offer services in three areas: automotive, chemicals and energy, and consumer goods and retail, a statement from Tata Strategic said.
“This alliance enables Tata Strategic to offer cutting-edge solutions to its India-based customers and puts us on par with all the major management consulting firms operating in India," Raju Bhinge, chief executive officer of Tata Strategic, said in the statement.
