Mumbai: Leading apparel maker Bombay Dyeing on Tuesday said four of its promoters have pledged 49.72 lakh shares representing 12.88% stake in the company with lenders.
Its promoter Nowrosjee Wadia & Sons has pledged 4.56% stake amounting 17.59 lakh shares, Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company said in a disclosure to the National Stock Exchange.
Further, another promoter firm Perman Project Supports has pledged 15 lakh shares forming 3.89% stake in the apparel manufacturing firm.
Besides, two other promoters - NW Exports and The Bombay Burmah Trading Corp have also pledged 11.13 lakh and 6 lakh shares amounting to 2.88 and 1.55% stake, respectively.
Calculated on Monday’s market price of Bombay Dyeing, pledged shares are estimated to be worth about Rs75.45 crore.
