Aviva launches pure term life cover plan

“Through Aviva Lifeshield Plus, we have attempted to provide our customers with a simple, low-cost term insurance plan to meet the need for protection," said Aviva Life Insurance India chief executive and managing director T.R. Ramachandran.

With the launch of the scheme, the company has strengthened the protection portfolio with another market leading plan, he added.

The policy also comes with immediate payment of the rider sum assured in the case of critical illness or permanent total disability, while life cover continues till the policy term, he added.
