New Delhi: Harley-Davidson India on Wednesday launched its Street 750 bike at the Delhi Auto Expo. Priced at ₹ 4.10 lakh, the model would be available through its 13 dealers in the country.
Street 750 will be by far its cheapest model in India since a Harley-Davidson motorcycle now costs at least ₹ 5.9 lakh.
Since its launch in 2010, Harley-Davidson, India’s largest superbike maker, has sold close to 4,000 bikes in India.
The company assembles 10 of the 11 models locally at its factory in Bawal, Haryana. Some of the parts for the Street 750 has been fabricated locally, managing director Anoop Prakash said. The market for bikes over 500cc have been expanding at a brisk pace, he said.
