Bharti to offer advanced mobile services in India

New Delhi: Bharti Airtel Ltd., India’s largest wireless carrier, is prepared to offer advanced mobile-phone services in India when the federal government makes the required airwaves available, chairman Sunil Mittal said.
The company won’t oppose overseas telecommunications companies from offering wireless services in India, Mittal told reporters in New Delhi on 21 May. The South Asian nation must ensure that adequate spectrum is available to all operators, he said.
