New Delhi:Nicholas Piramal India Limited (NPIL), one of India’s leading pharmaceutical companies, has launched ‘RESPeRATE’, aimed at the management of hypertension.
A patented product, based on the yogic principles of Pranayamam, it happens to be the first and only medical device cleared by the US FDA for adjunctive treatment of hypertension.
Designed as a portable electronic device that helps lower blood pressure naturally by enabling the patient to quickly harness the power of paced breathing it is backed by scientific research that corroborates that that paced breathing, if done effortlessly, can lower blood pressure significantly by relaxing the muscles surrounding constricted blood vessels.
