Suzlon Energy gets 200 MW China orders

Mumbai: Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd said on 18 April a subsidiary had received orders totalling nearly 200 megawatts (MW) of capacity for projects in China.
Suzlon Energy (Tianjin) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary, had received orders from Ao Lu Jia New Energy Development Ltd for 148.5 MW of wind turbine capacity, and from Beifang Longyuan (North Union) for 50 MW of capacity, it said in a statement.
Deliveries for the first order are scheduled for the second quarter of fiscal year 2008/09, it said, with the second order scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2009/10.
