RNRL FY09 net up 4% at Rs71.54 cr
Mumbai: Anil Ambani group firm Reliance Natural Resources Ltd today reported a 4.32% increase in consolidated net profit at ₹ 71.54 crore for the year ended 31 March, 2009.
The group had a net profit of Rs68.58 crore for the year ended 31 March 2008, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The consolidated income increased to ₹ 418.96 crore for the year ended 31 March, 2009, up 14.06% from ₹ 67.31 crore in the year-ago period.
On a standalone basis (power trading), RNRL posted a 1.86% rise in net profit at Rs69.87 crore for the year ended 31 March, 2009, as compared to Rs68.59 crore last year.
During the quarter ended 31 March, 2009, Reliance Cement Resources Pvt Ltd became a step-down subsidiary of RNRL.
Reliance Cement Resources Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Reliance Cementation, which in turn is a subsidiary of RNRL.
Shares of RNRL were trading in positive territory with gains of 1.38% at Rs58.60 on BSE in late afternoon trade.
