Mumbai: Hindustan Zinc Ltd, India’s largest producer of the metal, raised lead prices by 4.8%, following an increase in global prices.
The company will now sell lead for Rs1,33,300 per metric ton. This is the second price increas by the Udaipur-based company within a month. The company earlier raised zinc prices by 0.8% on July 7.
Zinc prices were kept unchanged at 159,000 rupees a ton.
