Kuala Lumpur: State-owned Air India is cash-strapped and is looking at options to save money, including rescheduling planes on order from Boeing Co, its chairman said on Monday.
“We are looking at options including rescheduling,” Arvind Jadhav told reporters on the sidelines of an aviation meeting in Kuala Lumpur. “I don’t have cash, what do you expect me to do?”
Air India has over $8 billion worth of planes on order from Boeing, including 27 B787 Dreamliners.
