New Delhi: Consultancy firm Mercer appointed Padma Ravichander as the managing director for its India operations.
Ravichander, who would be based in Bangalore, had prior experience in several IT services firms, including Perot Systems, Oracle and MOI Canada, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the appointment, Mercer deputy head, Asia Pacific, Guo Xin said, “This appointment marks yet another step to augment our increasing focus in Asia.”
Mercer, which begun its India operations 12 years ago, presently offers the complete suite of consulting, investment and outsourcing services.
“Mercer has developed credible brand equity amongst our clients. A clear priority for me is to evaluate potential synergies in our different lines of business, and develop ways to partner with customers in terms of talent acquisition and management,” Ravichander said.
