IIM-B graduates, the choicest ones: report
Bangalore: Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) has moved up three notches to sixth position in Quacquarelli Symonds Ltd’s latest report on business schools in the Asia-Pacific region that are most preferred by employers for hiring MBA graduates.
The report — ‘QS Global 200 Business Schools 2009: The Employers’ Choice’ — provides a list of 200 business schools, compiled from an annual survey of human resources and line managers with recruiting responsibilities.
IIM-B is the only Indian management school in the top 10, which includes business schools in Australia, Singapore, China and Hong Kong, the institute said in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
Quacquarelli Symonds, a London-based career and education network, also brings out the “Top 200 World Universities" report, which is published by British magazine, Times Higher Education.
