New Delhi: Glass packaging firm Piramal Glass Ltd on Monday reported over twofold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs.25.77 crore for the first quarter ended 30 June. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs.10.63 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Piramal Glass said in a filing to the BSE. Consolidated net sales of the company stood at Rs.428.10 crore in the April-June quarter, compared to Rs.384.80 crore during the same period of previous fiscal. The company’s shares closed at Rs.92.15 apiece down 0.54% from their previous close, on the BSE.
