Mumbai: Patel Engineering today said it has bagged orders worth Rs695.57 crore from the Andhra Pradesh state government for construction-related works at the Krishna delta system.
The project is the part of the state government’s programme to boost irrigation potential on major river delta systems, Patel Engineering said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scope of work includes modernisation of the river delta system including canals, channels and their dis-tributaries on engineering-procurement-and-construction basis.
The projects are expected to be completed in three years, the filing said. Shares of Patel Engineering were trading at Rs368.30, up 4.53% in the late afternoon trade on the BSE.
