Rolta to invest $2.5bn in Kolkatta

Mumbai: Rolta India Ltd. will invest ₹ 2.5 billion to set up a software technology park in the eastern city of Kolkata, the company said.

The park would have facilities for delivery of information technology-based geospatial services, engineering design services and software development, it said in a statement released on 5 June.

The facility would be set up in phases and once completed would provide employment opportunities to about 5,000 technical professionals and domain experts in the state of West Bengal, it said.
