Rolta India’s Profit Rises 26% to Rs469.4mn

Rolta India Ltd., a maker of design software, said third-quarter profit rose 26%.

Net income in the three months ended 31 March rose to Rs469.4 million ($11.3 million) from Rs371.1 million a year earlier. Revenue rose to Rs1.53 billion from Rs1.18 billion a year earlier.

Profit, including earnings from units, rose to Rs455.4 million from Rs330.3 million a year earlier.

Sales, including income from activities other than its main business, rose to Rs1.86 billion from Rs1.43 billion, the Mumbai-based company said in a release to the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
