Philippines port appoints Gagan Seksaria to boost Africa business

Mumbai: Philippines based global port operator International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) has appointed Gagan Seksaria to strengthen its Africa business through a new office in Cape Town.
Seksaria was an associate director (transportation and logistics) at audit and consulting firm KPMG India.
ICTSI recently appointed Jens O. Floe as senior vice president and regional head for its operations and business development in Africa.
Seksaria will be join Floe in developing port business in Africa.
Confirming the development, Seksaria said he will be responsible for, besides setting up the regional office, investment in and development of port and related infrastructure opportunities across the African continent.
Before KPMG, Seksaria was a founding member of private equity firm Tuscan Ventures and also spent several years with A. P. Moller - Maersk.
ICTSI is a leading port management company listed on the Manila stock exchange and is involved in the operations and development of 22 marine terminals and port projects in 17 countries worldwide. In India, ICTSI recently bagged the operations and management contract for developing Kattupalli container terminal near Chennai.
