Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas tops in terms of deal value; Khaitan & Co involved in maximum M&A deals

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has topped the list of law firms advising companies on mergers and acquisitions (M&As), in terms of deal value, in the January-March quarter.
The firm climbed 49 places from its year-ago ranking of 50 to top the list, advising on seven deals worth $3.2 billion, according to financial data provider Mergermarket.
Khaitan & Co. acted as the legal adviser on 15 M&A transactions, and topped the list of law firms involved in the most number of deals.
