Chandigarh: UK-based Zebra Technologies Europe is aiming to increase its market share to about 60% this year from last year’s 52% and planning to tap opportunities in retail, logistics and manufacturing space.
“Our target is to improve our market share to at least 60% against last year’s share of 52%, in country’s growing market of printing solutions,” Zebra Technologies Europe territory manager-India Shailesh Deshmukh told PTI here.
The overall market of printing solutions including printers, scanners etc in the country has been growing at a pace of 35-40% for the last 3-4 years.
“Within a short span of time, the overall market has reached Rs200 crore and it is expected to grow at robust pace,” he said.
Sharing the company’s plans, he said Zebra Technologies was looking to target organized retail, logistics and manufacturing segments for selling its printing solutions.
“These three segments offer immense opportunities to us and we would like to tap the same so as to consolidate our position in this market,” he said.
Particularly in manufacturing sector, we are aggressively focusing on automobile, pharmaceuticals and telecom sector,“ he said.
