Mumbai: Akruti City announced a consolidated net profit of Rs195.36 crore for the second quarter ended 30 September, more than three-fold growth over the corresponding period a year-ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs56.51 crore in the September quarter FY’08, Akruti City said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The consolidated income rose to Rs258.47 crore in the quarter under review from Rs98.53 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
On standalone basis, the company reported a net profit of Rs192.24 crore for the September quarter, a nearly three fold increase over the corresponding period a year-ago.
The company had a net profit of Rs65.09 crore in the September quarter financial year’08 on standalone basis.
It’s standalone income rose to Rs266.99 crore in the second quarter ended 30 September from Rs107.96 crore in the same quarter last year.
Shares of Akruti City were trading at Rs615, up 0.8% in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
