New Delhi: Software product development and BPO services company R Systems International Ltd announced a net profit of Rs6.55 crore for the third quarter ended 30 September, a decline of 2.78% from that in the year-ago period.
The company had earned a net profit of Rs6.74 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
The revenue of the company grew 44% to Rs92.11 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal from Rs64.10 crore in the corresponding period in 2007-08, it said in a statement.
“Currency volatility resulted in exchange losses of Rs1.58 crore during the quarter. On the positive side the continued strengthening of dollar and lower wage pressures are helping margins,” R Systems Director Finance O’Neil Nalavadi said.
