Former Canara Bank CMD Raman to join Sebi

Mumbai: S. Raman, former chairman and managing director (CMD) of Canara Bank, on Friday took over as a whole time member of stock market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for a tenure of five years.

Prior to joining Canara Bank, Raman has also served at various capacities with state-run banks Union Bank of India and Bank of India.
