New Delhi: Aureole Inspecs, a joint venture between Aureole India and British eyewear company Inspecs, is aiming at strengthening its presence in the country by opening 150 new retail points across seven more cities by early 2008.
Aureole Inspecs currently has 100 retail points in 18 cities and offers eyewear from global companies like Speedo, CAT, FCUK, French Connection, Nicole Farhi and Austin Reed, a company statement said.
The company has also tied up with two new international brands and would introduce the new labels very soon in India. It, however, did not reveal the names of the companies.
“Aureole Inspecs plans to launch two new labels very soon, as the branded eye wear market is at a very nascent stage and has great potential to grow and expand beyond the 18 -20 per cent growth annually which it is already witnessing,” Aureole Inspecs Chairman-cum-Managing Director Vineet Sharma said.
Conceptualising and developing specialised eyewear for corporates, institutions with salient focus on Defence services is another key area for the company, the statement said.
