New Delhi: Piramal Life Sciences on Tuesday said its net loss for the quarter ended 31 December stood at Rs25.91 crore.
While, total revenue of the company, which is mainly engaged in pharmaceutical research and development business, stood at Rs1.76 crore in the latest quarter, Piramal Life Sciences said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scrip got listed with the exchanges on 29 May last year and since this is the first year of nine-monthly results of the company, the figures for the previous quarter and nine months are not available for comparison, it said.
Piramal Life Sciences was recently demerged from Piramal Healthcare, formerly known as Nicholas Piramal India Ltd.
Piramal Life Sciences was trading at Rs35.25, down 3.82% in the late afternoon trade on the BSE.
