Jet inks pact with Lufthansa unit to maintain planes

New Delhi: Jet Airways (India) Ltd, the nation’s biggest domestic airline, said it signed an initial agreement with Germany’s Lufthansa Technik AG to maintain Airbus SAS and Boeing Co. planes.
As part of the agreement, Lufthansa Technik, the maintenance unit of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Europe’s second- biggest airline, and Jet Airways will maintain and repair Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 planes, the Mumbai-based carrier said in a statement to the BSE.
