Aviation | Nacil invites bids for overseas jet fuel supply

New Delhi: State-run National Aviation Co. of India Ltd, or Nacil, which operates Air India, has called bids for the supply of jet fuel at overseas stations, according to a tender on its Web site. The fuel contracts are for three years starting 1 April, according to the tender.
The bidding closes on 26 February.

Airlines owe state-run refiners Rs3,610 crore
New Delhi: The nation’s largest domestic carrier, Jet Airways (India) Ltd, and other airlines owe state- run refiners Rs3,610 crore for jet fuel as of 31 December, minister of state for petroleum Dinsha Patel said.
The airlines have paid oil refiners Rs1,370 crore, Patel told the Rajya sabha.
