Mumbai: Offshore service company Great Offshore Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs56.17 crore on revenues of Rs174.01 crore during the April-June quarter of the current fiscal year. Total revenues included other income of Rs29 crore, the firm said in a statement.
During the corresponding period last year, the company had reported a net profit of Rs35.11 crore on revenues of Rs112.23 crore.
Meanwhile, a Reuters report quoted managing director Vijay Sheth saying that the company plans to bid for marine construction and engineering projects at the offshore installations of state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp.
The Great Offshore share closed at Rs820.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, up 0.29% from the previous close.
