Mumbai: India’s Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. has received tentative approval for quinapril hydrochloride and hydrochlorothiazide tablets from the US Food and Drug Administration, the regulator’s Web site showed.
The drugs, used in treating hypertension and congestive heart failure, are the generic equivalents of Pfizer Inc.’s Accupril and Accuretic tablets.
