Mumbai: To cash in on the peak travel season, India’s largest airline by passengers carried Jet Airways (India) Ltd has introduced 46 new flights across India as part of its winter schedule, starting from 1 November.
In addition to the launch of new flights on existing sectors, the airline, along with its all-economy and no-frill brand Jet Airways Konnect, has introduced services on ten additional sectors across India, with immediate effect, according to media statement.
JetLite (India) Ltd, low fare arm of Jet Airways, will start 30 new flights and 8 new sectors, starting from Monday.
Nikos Kardassis, CEO, Jet Airways said: “With domestic air traffic, particularly business travel, on an upswing, there has been a strong up-shift in demand towards twin-cabin services on several routes.’’
Jet Airways will take six small ATR planes in this quarter to facilitate more flights and Tier II and Tier III cities.
